Texting Back in the Day

Presented by Linda Robinson, Professor at UW-Whitewater
Reading the History of 1913 Whitewater from an Oregon School Girl’s Postcards Home

During the first summer attending the Normal School at Whitewater, Bernice Hanan of Oregon, WI wrote postcards home almost every day and, in doing so, gave us a fascinating glimpse of the live of Whitewater’s young people in 1913.

Come have fun “reading” these historical artifacts to discover the stories they have to tell.
