Pioneer Days

Teachers should inform the OAHS when the “Pioneer Days” are scheduled.  oahs@frontier.com

 

Appointments

IMPORTANT!  Students/parents – you will make your appointment for costumes with your school teacher, or school coordinator. Teachers will provide the appointment list to the OAHS museum.

student-2013smOAHS Museum volunteers will be available to help with costume fittings the week prior to each “Pioneer Day” event:

Saturday      10:00am -2:00pm

Tuesday       3:30pm – 6:30pm

Wednesday   3:30pm – 6:30pm

At the end of your event, borrowed clothing will be put in plastic bags with your yellow form, and returned to your teacher.

Teachers will return all the clothing to the OAHS museum.

We welcome volunteers to help the OAHS with fitting costumes, checking out, and assisting with laundry when the clothes are returned.

*If a holiday falls on the Saturday, fittings might be a week earlier.

 

Wax Museum

Teachers should inform the OAHS when they plan their “Wax Museum” events.

Appointments for historic costumes are to be made with OAHS.  oahs@frontier.com

Fittings will take place at the MUSEUM (lower level) – 159 W. Lincoln Street.  Costumes are to be returned to the museum.

 

Donations are greatly appreciated to help us sustain this volunteer program.
