Stoughton; he was born in Montgomeryshire, Wales, in 1825; in 1842, his parents, Thomas E. and Elizabeth Jehu, emigrated to America and settled in Racine Co., Wis. where they afterward made their home till their deaths; our subject removed to Dane Co. in 1854, and settled on Sec. 22, town of Rutland, where he resided till 1866;
