The Steinhauer Sisters

Sisters with guitar.

The Steinhauer sisters grew up singing on their front porch after their chores were finished. All were very good yodelers, performing at horse shows, church picnics, and winning home talent shows. They auditioned and sang on the WLS radio show in Chicago.

Youngest sister Teresa passed away at a young age. Ellen (Johnson) dropped out of the group when she married; but Dorothy (Freitag) and Ann (Bossingham) continued to sing at various events.
