The Oregon Area Historical Society is entirely funded by membership dues and donations. Your support helps the Oregon Area Historical Society bring local history to life through:
- Engaging educational events and programs
- Curated exhibits showcasing Oregon’s rich heritage
- Collaborations with community groups
- Guided tours of historical landmarks
The Oregon Area Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) and any donations beyond membership dues may be tax deductible.
What do you get with your membership?
Online or print subscription to our newsletter, The Hitching Post.- Free private tour of the museum (by appointment).
- Invite to our annual membership meeting in March.
- Voting rights at the annual membership meeting in March.

Business memberships are listed on the Business Member webpage with your logo and link to your business (as applicable).

Memberships are renewed annually and run from April to March.
There are 3 ways to become a member or renew your membership. However you renew or enroll, remember to sign up for our email list! Receive the newsletter, event information, and membership renewal reminders via email!
Stop by the Museum during our open hours to get a copy of the membership card and to pay your dues.
