Oregon Observer
The local newspaper, The Oregon Observer, has been published weekly since 1880. The Historical society has copies of almost every issue. Physical copies of the newspaper are bound into books.
Obituaries
Historical Society volunteers read every issue of the Observer and clip important articles and obituaries. Clippings are then added to binders and filed in our archive.

The Oregon Observer from 2005 to 60 days ago can be access through BadgerLink.
The Oregon Public Library also owns the microfilm for the Oregon Observer from 1881 to 2016 and maintains an Obituary Index that is usually available online but is currently unavailable.
