Mary Anderson
Mary Almeda Sholts Anderson was born to Professor and Mrs. Arthur Sholts in March, 1897. She spent virtually her entire life on the family farm, just south of Oregon. Her father was a professor and Regent at University of Wisconsin.
Charles Anthony
Charles Anthony was born in Rutland, Wisconsin on April 18, 1857. He married Miss Philena Chidester in December, 1885. For their honeymoon, Chalres and Philena took the noon train to, then went on to Nebraska to spend a few weeks with relatives.
John Norton Ames
John Norton Ames was born July 7, 1822, in Steuben, Oneida County, New York. He was the son of David H. and Betsy Norton Ames. He was married to Mary Ann Ball on October 24, 1844.

William Lafayette Ames was born April 4, 1857 in Oregon, Dane County, Wisconsin, son of John Norton Ames and Mary Ann Ball Ames. He died June 15, 1951 in Oregon.
Nathaniel Ames
Nathaniel Ames was born in Killingsley, Connecticut on April 25, 1761. He enlisted in the continental service for the campaign of 1779. From the beginning until the end he served in the Revolutionary War. He was stationed at Valley Forge in the cold winter of 1779-80 and frequently saw General Washington as he came among his soldiers. He also saw Major Andre executed in front of the old stone church.
Francis M. Ames
Francis Marion Ames was born and raised in Dane County. He was born in the town of Oregon, March 23, 1847, and is the oldest son of John N. and Mary Ann (Ball) Ames, pioneer settlers of the county.
Henry N. Algard
Henry N. Algard was born on February 20, 1832, in Cayuga County, New York. His parents, Joseph and Eliza (Reemer) Algard, were both from of Pennsylvania. In 1844, when Henry was 12, the family settled in Waukesha County, Wisconsin and then in the fall of 1846 in Oregon.
