Hrnest Hiram Tresch was born on a farm in Fleming Ohio in 1917. On November 9, 1941 Ernie Tresch enlisted to the Army Air Corps. In 1945 Tresch received a call from General Eisenhower’s staff and became a pilot for him. In 1948 Ernie left the service. He married

Lyman L. Hanan was born 1824 in New York and lived in Rutland, Wisconsin. He was mustered on December 3, 1863 into the Wisconsin 33rd Infantry and transferred to the 11th, Co. F. He Served in the Louisiana and Alabama campaign against Mobile and in the siege of Spanish Fort
Age 16, single, blue eyes, light hair, fair complexion, 5′ 6″, a farmer.
Age 19, single, gray eyes, brown hair, light complexion, 6’0″, a farmer.
In the 1890’s until after World War I, the Womens Relief Corps (WRC) was very active in Oregon. They cared for the graves of our Civil War veterans and our one Revolutionary war veteran.
Age 20, single, blue eyes, red hair, sandy complexion, 5′ 7-3/4″ a farmer
(Enlisted in Company K, 1st Wisconsin Infantry Regiment (three months) from Stoughton, Wisconsin, April 17th 1861 and mustered out August 21st 1861 Milwaukee, Wisconsin.)
Enlisted July 29th 1862 Oregon, Wisconsin by J. Bull for three years, mustered in August 30th 1862 Madison, Wisconsin.
